Cracow/Krakow

Though sometimes called the Florence of the North, or Polish Rome, Cracow shall always be Cracow, no matter what comparisons are made about its similarities to other places. Planty Park

This green belt enlivening the old walls was arranged after the former moat had been filled with earth and the medieval defence walls had been pulled down in the early 19th century.

Wawel Hill

This stone heritage of the past has witnessed the thousand-year historia of the Polish nation. First, a stone palatium was built, then a Gothic castle, and finally a Renaissance royal residence, renowned and imitiated in the whole country.

Main Marketplace

One of the biggest town squares of medieval Europe, it was laid out in 1257 and remained the hub of administration and commerce untill now.
