Debki can offer all year round reasons to visit. Most people for
obvious reasons visit Debki in the summer. In the seasons are generally
a lot clearer cut than in England. You can pretty much guarantee a cold
snowy winter and a lovely warm summer. In the winter Debki is very quiet
indeed. A few tourists and a few locals make up the town. The main shop/
bar is open every day but you can probably get the beach to yourself.
The snow normally starts around Christmas time and can still be found on
the ground in March. If you like things like Kite Surfing then you
can
probably get the beach to yourself in the Easter period. Although a few
tourists visit Debki at Easter, once Easter is over the beach will be
shared between a few fishermen and maybe a lonely dog walker.
The beach, out of the summer months tends to be fairly windy as it is
so open and kiting is perfect. The photo taken Easter 2005 shows a
solitary kite flyer with the beach to himself.
In the summer everything warms up and the long summer in Debki brings
in the tourists.
The summer holidays start around June 20th and the town picks up
every week after this date. The peak is mid July and 1st September the
kids are back to school so this is when Debki really quietens down.
For a look at the forecast in Debki try this link for Gdansk weather.
But it is often very wrong. For example last week the site had it down
for raid all week but there wasn't a cloud in the sky!

The sun sets over the beautiful Baltic Coastline. A lonely fishing

Another beautiful evening in June and another beautiful sunset. The
photo is taken on the beach, just outside
The Beach bar/ club.

Still nice and warm as the sun sets - holiday makers enjoy a game of
beach volleyball.
